Med. Granny Smith apple, peeled and diced
1/3 Cup bourbon
both sides of chops with cut sides of grlic cloves. Season
with sage, salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat butter
until it sizzles. Add chops and saute (moderate heat)
until browned on bottom (6 min.). Turn chops, saute another
6 minutes. Remove meat and sprinkle with lemon juice and
keep warm. Add the onion (and more butter if needed) to
the skillet and saute over moderate heat until fragrant;
about 1 minute. Add apples and saute until warm (1-2 min).
Spoon the onion, apple and bourbon sauce over the warm
chops and serve at once. ENJOY!
