                      cup all-purpose flour  1 
                      cup whole wheat flour  1 
                      tablespoon baking powder  1/4 
                      teaspoon salt  1 
                      teaspoon nutmeg  1/2 
                      cup chopped dates  1 
                      tablespoon oil  1 
                      cup mashed bananas  1 
                      egg (beaten)  
                     Mix 
                        together flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and dates. 
                        Mix together oil, banana and egg. Add banana mixture to 
                        flour mixture and mix until combined. Add a little milk 
                        if too dry. On floured surface, knead a few times. Pat 
                        to 3/4 thickness and cut into desired shapes. Bake 
                        at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. |  |
